My Ex’s Wife Made My Teen Babysit Their Baby

When 16-year-old Rachel saved up to buy her dream sewing machine, she had no idea her stepmother, Karen, would destroy it out of pure spite—tossing it into the pool simply because Rachel didn’t do the dishes fast enough. Her father, Mark, stood by and said nothing. Rachel was heartbroken. When she called her mom in tears,

everything changed. Her mom—furious and protective—picked her up immediately, confronted Karen, and took Rachel home. But she didn’t stop there. She had a plan. Enlisting her friend Jason, an actor with a police uniform from an old gig, they staged a fake confiscation at Karen’s house. Jason, posing as a cop, claimed her work laptop was being seized for “an investigation.” Karen panicked, begged, and nearly cried. Then Rachel walked in, filming everything. “Now you know how it feels to lose something important,” she said, staring Karen down. Her mom stepped in: either Karen paid Rachel back for the sewing machine and,
apologized, or the video went public. Karen paid. Rachel got a new sewing machine. And from that day on, things changed. No more forced weekends at her dad’s house. No more control from Karen. Just a girl who stood up for herself—with a little help from her mom.
