We Moved Into a Deceased Man’s House, and a Dog Visited Us Daily…

Maggie, her son Ethan, and husband Kyle move into a new house, hoping for a fresh start. Ethan, having been bullied, needs a change of scenery, and Maggie is determined to help him heal. The house had belonged to an elderly man named Christopher, and his daughter sold it to the family, saying she couldn’t bear to live there after his passing. Soon after settling in, a husky appears on their porch every morning. The dog, with piercing blue eyes and a worn collar reading “Christopher Jr.,”

seems to be a regular visitor. Ethan grows attached to him, but Maggie starts feeling uneasy, especially after the dog begins acting strangely and leading them into the woods. One day, the husky guides Maggie and Ethan deep into the forest, where they find a pregnant fox caught in a hunter’s trap. They rescue her and rush her to the vet, with the husky following them every step of the way. The fox survives surgery, and Maggie and Ethan nurse her back to health, even as the husky, now named CJ, stays by her side.A few days later, the fox, named Vixen,
gives birth to four kits. The family watches as Vixen and her babies eventually return to the wild. Every weekend, they visit the forest, where Vixen and her kits greet them, proving the bond formed between them.Maggie reflects on the strange events that brought them together, thankful for the mysterious husky that led them to help Vixen.
