Shocking Development Hours Before Trump’s Speech To Congress — Democrats are SICK

Around a dozen House Democrats are considering various ways to protest President Donald Trump’s speech to Congress on Tuesday, including possible disruptions.

Some ideas go beyond what party leaders suggested—bringing guests affected by Trump’s policies and DOGE—creating tension between more aggressive and traditional members.

“This is not business as usual, and we want to find a productive way to express our outrage,” one House Democrat told Axios.

Democrats are debating the best form of protest. Some may walk out if Trump makes certain remarks, such as criticizing transgender children. Axios also reported discussions about props like anti-Trump signs, egg cartons to highlight inflation, and pocket Constitutions to argue Trump has violated constitutional principles. However, lawmakers were told not to use props in meetings or on the House floor.

The caucus remains divided, as some constituents support disruption while others believe it plays into Trump’s hands. Some Democrats favor more traditional protests through coordinated outfits:

– The Democratic Women’s Caucus will wear pink.
– The Congressional Black Caucus may wear black to reflect a somber mood.
– Ukraine Caucus co-chair Marcy Kaptur (D-Ohio) will distribute blue and yellow ties and scarves in support of Ukraine.

Others plan to sit silently and refuse to applaud. Some may skip the speech altogether, which party leadership has said is acceptable.

House Minority Leader Hakeem Jeffries (D-N.Y.) urged Democrats to present a “strong, determined, and dignified” presence. House Democratic Caucus Chair Pete Aguilar (D-Calif.) encouraged members to focus on their constituents’ well-being.

“Whether we wear pink, black, or blue and yellow, we are all expressing our disapproval of this administration,” said Rep. Stacey Plaskett (D-V.I.).
