Elvis Presley’s 1962 private jet has finally been sold, and the interior is breathtaking.

Elvis Presley was famous for more than just his fantastic music and one-of-a-kind voice that amazed millions around the globe. He also had a keen sense of fashion and a good taste in food (who doesn’t love blue suede shoes?). Not everyone knows that the rock legend had some pretty amazing decorating skills too. A great example of this is his famous private jet, which really shows off his unique style.

In 1962, Elvis got his very own plane and made sure it was customized just for him. When you look inside, you’ll see beautiful wood walls, carpet, and fancy red velvet seats.Elvis had the Lockheed Jetstar plane for over 35 years, but after he died in 1977, it was just left there. He had a few private planes, and this Lockheed was one of them.He owned a special version of the Convair 880, which everyone called the “Lisa Marie,” and its call sign was Hound Dog 1. He also had another JetStar plane named Hound Dog 2. These private planes showed off his luxurious way of living and his love for flying.

In Roswell, New Mexico, USA, the aircraft depicted below had remained on a roadway for an extended period. Eventually, the jet was auctioned off, and a devoted Elvis fan recently acquired it via telephone for $260,000 during an auction held in Florida. Accompanied by his father, Vernon Presley, Elvis was aboard the aircraft when it initially ascended through the clouds. The aircraft has been stationed at a particular location in New Mexico for over 30 years following Elvis Presley’s passing. Upon closer inspection of the exterior, one can observe that the red paint has faded somewhat. Despite its age, the aircraft remains in good condition.

Explore the interior… I must admit that I wouldn’t object to taking a long journey on this aircraft. It exudes the same style that I imagine the King of Rock would have. The chairs are covered in luxurious red velvet, with the walls adorned in wooden panels. An advanced television is integrated into the room. The expansive single room offers plenty of seating for guests, featuring comfortable chairs. A compact kitchen is positioned behind the main area. Merely watch the microwave. After all this time, it probably no longer works. Picture Elvis rising from his seat, heading to the kitchen, and assembling one of his iconic peanut butter, mayonnaise, crispy bacon, and banana sandwiches before warming it in the microwave. Embrace the nostalgia!

Explore the lavatory! With luxurious velvet and an extravagant sink. Compare this to the tight spaces found on charter flights… Definitely not bad, don’t you think? I am delighted to have experienced a taste of Elvis’ preferred way of traveling. The aircraft was auctioned off for $260,000. It was listed for auction at the Florida Mecum Kissimmee Collector Car Sale on January 8th. The prospective purchaser submitted bids via telephone; however, their offers have not been acknowledged.

You are welcome to share this with any acquaintances who are fans of Elvis!
