Jane Fonda, 86, stuns at the Cannes Film Festival, but fans can’t ignore glaring detail

It may have only been day one of the Cannes Film Festival, but I think it’s safe to say Jane Fonda won best dressed.

The 86-year-old actress and activist glowed as she stepped out for the Second Act screening and opening ceremony. While many praised her effortlessly chic look, some couldn’t help but notice one tiny detail…

She also effortlessly wrapped a black and tan animal print coat around her shoulders. And I can’t forget to mention her bold red lip!

The Monster-in-Law actress looked decades younger than 86, and fans noticed.

“She looks absolutely stunning, gorgeous & so elegant for 86 years old … love her hair too …”
“That’s how to do red carpet glamour. No bits hanging out on show. Just style by the shed load.”

“Wow 86 ! I wonder what the so called celebrities today will look like when they are 86”

But while some admired her good looks, others couldn’t help but notice one glaring detail.
“From a distance she looks fabulous. However, let’s be honest the hands give the age away,” one person wrote.

“Excellent cosmetic work, her hands tell her age,” someone else added.

“Not much can be done for those veiny hands, though. They definitely give away her age.”

In the past Fonda has been candid about her history with plastic surgery, admitting she’s had work done, but has regretted it.

“I had a facelift and I stopped because I don’t want to look distorted. I’m not proud of the fact that I had [one].”
Rather than turn to the knife, Fonda claims to keep her beauty routine as simple as possible.

“I don’t spend a lot of money on face creams or anything like that, but I stay moisturized, I sleep, I move, I stay out of the sun, and I have good friends who make me laugh. Laughter is a good thing too.”
