I’m going crazy because my daughter thinks she can see ghosts in the house.

Not long ago, a mom who used to feel safe in her own home told how her daughter started seeing ghosts. She went online to get help and advice because she was scared.

“First, let me say that our house was built in 1710. Some of my more spiritual friends think we’re “not alone” here, but everyone has said that our house feels warm and welcoming, like it has a “friendly presence.”

I’m not sure how I feel about ghosts. Even though I don’t believe in ghosts, stories about them will still scare me.

I’m writing this quickly because I’m scared because I’m home alone tonight (my husband will be home soon), and I think my 2.5-year-old saw ghosts while we were getting ready for bed.

In the middle of going to the bathroom, she almost jumped off the toilet and into my arms. She looked at the shower curtain and asked, “Who is coming out of there?” ‘What do you mean?’ I asked. She said, “I’m afraid of the people.” I tried to stay calm and asked, “What people?” “The bad guy!” she yelled. “I’m too scared of the people on the stairs,” she said when I tried to put her down for a while. She also wouldn’t go out into the hallway.

Send help, please. Or tell me what age is normal to start saying these things.”
