My Sister Has Been Tormenting Me All My Life, Today She Received an Epic Payback

We were left feeling conflicted after reading the 38-year-old woman’s letter in which she shared a story. Throughout her life, the woman’s sister has been the epitome of evil, causing our heroine great suffering. However, during one of their family get-togethers, karma struck back at the nasty woman, and our heroine can now confidently declare that retribution is best served cold.

There has always been hostility between sisters.

A 38-year-old anonymous woman wrote a letter to us sharing a life story that solidified our belief in karma.

“My parents have three daughters,” the woman began her letter. Sally, me, and Maya. The issue has always been Sally. Due to a serious medical condition that Sally had at birth, doctors initially thought she wouldn’t make it through the birth process. However, my parents never lost hope for Sally. After countless hours and dollars were spent on her care, a miracle finally occurred. Sally became the family favorite after that because they have loved her unconditionally. She was always blessed with the best. Most of my clothes were hand-me-downs and tiny sizes from my sister.

“I didn’t mind it, but it was unfair that I was the child who was neglected forever,” the woman clarified. The scapegoat was me. My parents also set us against each other, and for strange reasons, Sally and I were always in competition with each other. I was expected to behave and never voice any complaints. Sally, my sister, was also a brat. Sally had a dollhouse that was larger than mine. My parents would simply say “well done” and move on if I did something nice. But they would throw a party if Sally even happened to win a competition. I’ve been cautious around my parents ever since. Because Sally was a “special child,” she would tease me and our other sister Maya. I had always been grounded, but I never even complained.”

Everything grew worse over time.

As she continues her tale, our heroine says, “Sally has always treated me horribly. She would often make fun of me, torture me, and even take stuff from me. My parents took no action. As I previously stated, Sally was constantly vying with me. She would also enter me in a music competition if I ever wanted to. In high school, I recall having a crush on someone. How did Sally behave? In front of me, she made out with that crush. Both Maya and I had to take out loans for college because our parents could not even afford to send us there, even with Maya’s scholarship.

The final straw came when Sally meddled with our heroine’s deep love. “I was dating a guy in college and I loved him so much,” the writer wrote. His parents were out of the house when Sally brought him home. In our basement, I saw them sharing a passionate kiss. For me, it was really painful. After berating Sally for a few days, my parents said, “Well, what happened just happened.” These two are inseparable lovers.

And that was our heroine’s story. She cried out at her parents, telling them that she had put up with their abuse for years and that she would no longer put up with it. There was a great deal of stress for several years after the woman broke off communication with her family.

The woman’s circumstances were improving, and she started to feel content.

“Sally remained just as shameless as she has always been and started dating my ex,” the woman wrote. After a while, I moved past it and married a really wonderful man. Not Sally, but our parents were invited to the wedding by me. My parents turned down my invitation and treated me disrespectfully once more, but I didn’t mind because I was happy.

The woman disclosed that she is expecting her first child right now. She did receive a single contact from her parents, and although she was dubious, she ultimately consented to make amends.

The woman continued, “Our family has a tradition where they arrange a big dinner at my parents’ place once a year.” Usually, all of our cousins and relatives are invited. I went to that dinner with my husband, Adam, after I had made amends with my parents. Along with her spouse, Sister Sally was my former partner, whom she had stolen from me years prior. To everyone’s surprise, Sally made an attempt to get closer to my husband during the evening. He would simply turn his back on her. Dinner arrived, and my parents gave a speech. Subsequently, Sally abruptly got up and said, “I’m so glad she’s here with us; she could have died as a baby.”

Sally deserved to be the star of the family dinner, and that is exactly what happened.

“Dear sister, I know it must be painful for you because your beloved is now my husband, but I’m grateful for your blessing,” Sally said to me, the woman wrote. I want to commend your bravery even though I know it must be extremely painful for you to be here given how hard it was for you to compete with me.

Adam, the husband of our heroine, became angry and yelled at Sally at that exact moment. “He was saying how dare she insult me,” the woman wrote. “You think that being a miracle baby makes you very special,” he remarked. Yes, I was a miracle baby too, but unlike you, I don’t cry over it. Your accidental survival is your only accomplishment in life, what a pitiful lady you are. What else have you managed to achieve? My wife was the victim of theft of everything you own, including your husband. It’s so annoying that even your husband finds you annoying. Are you aware of the reality? Both you and your possessions are nothing. You even made an attempt to make out with me, how shameless of you. You now want my wife’s husband even though you already have her ex. You are a paper bag of a woman, and I would sooner die than be with you.

Adam added that Sally, knowing she would never be as great as our heroine, has always been envious of her.

«There was more, but it was so brutal that Sally started crying,” the woman wrote. My entire family, including my parents, was taken aback. Not even my cousins spoke. I was aware that Sally was despised by everyone present. All I could do was laugh quietly. When my mother saw that I was laughing at my sister’s suffering, she called me a vicious person. But since it’s karma, I don’t mind.
