Nearly 12 years have passed since the world bid farewell to the iconic Steve Irwin, fondly remembered as “The Crocodile Hunter.” His untimely demise at a young age shocked and saddened many. Recently, his wife, Terri Irwin, shared a heart-wrenching revelation during an interview on the Australian TV show “Anh’s Brush With Fame.”

Terri, 53 years old, appeared on the show to advocate against culling. However, the conversation turned to her late husband, Steve, whom she tearfully disclosed always harbored a belief that his life would end prematurely.

“He never thought he’d have a long life,” Terri revealed, shedding light on Steve’s somber premonition. Unfortunately, Steve’s foresight proved accurate. In 2006, during the filming of “Ocean’s Deadliest” in Queensland, Australia, he was tragically pierced in the chest by a stingray.

Terri vividly recalled the moment she was informed of the incident and the immense sorrow she felt when she had to break the news to their two children, Bindi and Robert. She grappled with a heavy sense of responsibility and the daunting question of how to proceed.

Her last memory of Steve was at the airstrip, waving goodbye as she and the kids departed for Tasmania. Little did she realize it would be their final farewell. Even after 11 years, the pain of losing Steve remains palpable for Terri.
