If You Start Seeing These Vending Machines In Your Neighborhood, It’s Time To Pack Up And Move. See it below!!

Illegal vending machines selling crack pipes have emerged on Long Island, New York, alarming local authorities. Originally designed for tampons, these machines were converted to dispense crack pipes, posing a threat to the community, including drug addicts and children.

Law enforcement removed three such vending machines, thwarting easy access to drug paraphernalia. Suffolk County, plagued by drug abuse, faces an ongoing battle against such issues, with authorities striving to make a significant impact amid evolving tactics by criminals.

Dubbed “Sketch Pens,” these vending machines charge two dollars per ceramic tube, enabling convenient access to the addictive substance. The culprits behind these installations remain unidentified, prompting a thorough investigation by the Suffolk County Police Department.

The situation has shocked residents, who demand action to address the escalating drug problem. Suffolk County has witnessed a staggering 337 heroin-related deaths between 2009 and 2013, reflecting the severity of the issue. Locals, like Anthony Minichini, express dismay at finding these vending machines near public areas.

Town officials, including Councilman Michael Loguercio and Supervisor Ed Romaine, condemn the criminal activity, emphasizing the need for swift action. Despite Suffolk County’s affluent status, the prevalence of these vending machines underscores the pressing need for intervention in combating drug-related challenges.
