A strip club in Michigan faced criticism for a sign offering jobs to new high school graduates, jokingly seeking “gorgeous, confident, and talented women.” The sign, saying “Now Hiring Class of 2016,” drew backlash from locals who found it inappropriate and concerning for young girls.

Lisa Mulholland expressed discomfort, emphasizing the importance of pursuing higher education after high school. While she acknowledges the club’s owners as good people, she finds the sign in poor taste. Another resident, Lisa Dickerson, echoed these sentiments, deeming it “sickening” for recent graduates to strip for money. The club issued an apology, clarifying the sign was intended as a joke and not meant to offend anyone. Established in the 1970s, the club offers a mild atmosphere where visitors can enjoy modern music and distractions from daily troubles.
