In her post, Brinkley stressed the significance of sunscreen, stating, “All of this can be avoided by being diligent with your sun protection!” She shared her commitment to SPF 30, long sleeves, wide-brim hats, and regular check-ups, encouraging others to do the same.

Brinkley underwent a procedure to remove the basal cell carcinoma, a type of skin cancer commonly caused by sun exposure. She bravely posted before-and-after pictures, highlighting the importance of early detection.
