At first, he slept on the streets, and then he found an apartment but had no electricity for four months.

The life story of Dr. Phil, whose real name is Phil McGraw, is a testament to resilience, hard work, and the triumph of the human spirit over adversity.

Growing up in a tumultuous environment marked by his father’s alcoholism, McGraw experienced instability and hardship during his childhood. Moving frequently and sometimes facing homelessness, he learned to fend for himself from a young age, developing independence and resilience as survival tools.
