Report: It’s Revealed Who Adam Schiff Was Leaking Classified Info To

Newly declassified FBI interview records have revived serious allegations that Senator Adam Schiff approved leaks of classified information during the Trump–Russia investigation. Documents obtained by Just The News cite a whistleblower—a Democratic intelligence officer who worked for the House Intelligence Committee—as telling the FBI multiple times between 2017 and 2023 that Schiff authorized the leaks to politically damage then-President Donald Trump.

At the time, Schiff was the ranking Democrat on the committee and later became its chairman. The whistleblower claimed Rep. Eric Swalwell likely served as the direct source of the leaks, which supported the “Russiagate” narrative. One FBI summary quoted Schiff as telling staffers in a meeting that classified material derogatory to Trump would be leaked and used to indict him.

Swalwell has denied the allegations and criticized FBI Director Kash Patel. The whistleblower further alleged that Schiff had been promised the role of CIA Director if Hillary Clinton won in 2016, and despite her loss, Schiff continued efforts to undermine Trump through strategic leaks.

Though the whistleblower claims to have reported these concerns to the FBI, the Justice Department reportedly showed little interest. They say they were later fired after alerting authorities—raising further questions about the government’s response to internal warnings.

Investigative journalist Paul Sperry added that leaks may have been routed to Washington Post reporter Ellen Nakashima, citing her ties to senior intelligence officials. Schiff’s office has yet to respond publicly. If substantiated, the allegations could carry major legal and political consequences, given Schiff’s current Senate role.
